Due to an unpredictable work schedule, Hannigan, my 10 year old lab/shepherd mix wasn't getting enough exercise. At first we tried 'traditional' doggy day care. The problem with that was he was still spending too much time indoors, and, when he did go out, he was thrown a ball a few times in a confined area with several other dogs. When I heard about Out and About Hound, we both jumped for joy. Not only does Anthony provide free pick-up and drop-off service, his dog park is several acres, securely fenced. Anthony provides a great deal of one-on-one time with each dog so he keeps the groups small (5 or less). Best of all, after playing in the park, they all go on a hike in the woods (depending on the size and stamina). Anthony always provides fresh water and treats. After a half day of running leash free with his camp buddies, Hannigan always comes home happy and tired, not to mention the benefits of fresh air and sunshine on his immune system. The pricing is compable to other doggie day care facillities, in fact when all of the services are itemized, Out and About is probably a bit less expensive. An amazing value for the money.
